On October 28, 2019, the Weizmann League – Weizmann Canada’s group of young professionals  – presented an intimate fireside chat and networking reception with Victor G. Dodig, president and CEO of the CIBC group of companies. The event was hosted by CIBC in Commerce Court West.  

Harnessing a collective and avid interest in entrepreneurship, the Weizmann League welcomed the opportunity to sit down with Victor G. Dodig, a past recipient of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 award, graduate of the Harvard Business School with more than 25 years of extensive business and banking experience.  

The event granted attendees a glimpse into Dodig’s personal story, as he shared the challenges and successes of his professional journey. Moderated by The Weizmann League’s co-chair Zachary Schwartz, the event provided the audience with profound insight as well as often humorous, personal anecdotes. 

All proceeds from this event went directly to support vital cancer research at the Weizmann Institute of Science, which is the philanthropic area of focus for the Weizmann League this year.
