About this event

Join us on Tuesday, January 19 at 12 p.m. ET to learn about the science behind food and your microbiome, as well as the business model behind the booming success of healthy home delivered meals.

Prof. Eran Elinav, from the Department of Immunology, will share his research on the microbiome and how it interacts with health and disease, with the goal of personalizing medicine and nutrition. Prof. Elinav’s research has been profiled internationally in media outlets from CBS 60 Minutes to The Guardian.

Neil Cuggy, President and COO of Goodfood, Canada’s top online grocer, will share industry insights and explain how his company approaches personalized nutrition. Goodfood is one of the largest Canadian food subscription services, delivering more than 4 million meals each month, and trading publicly on the Toronto Stock Exchange (ticker: FOOD).

Steven J. Singer, Co-Founder of Glutino Foods and Founder and CEO of Fody Food Co., will be the moderator of the event, bringing over 20 years of experience in the natural food industry. He will also reflect on personalized nutrition, with Fody Food Co. products being geared towards people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other digestive sensitivities.
